A memorandum of understanding was signed between Sakcable and Skillwill, marking the beginning of a significant social project. Collaboration aims to provide full funding for youth living in the highland region of Georgia to study at Skillwill. These students, already equipped with Internet access and necessary equipment through the project “Charte,” will have the opportunity to master highly demanded and well-paid professions such as programming, IT project management, front-end development, and UX/UI design.
“Supporting education is one of Sakcable’s priorities. For that reason, we have signed a memorandum with Skillwill, Georgia’s first neo-university. The project we are jointly implementing will bring new opportunities and career growth to the graduates. Currently, we are focusing on emerging professions. Students have the opportunity to develop essential skills without leaving home, acquire new contacts, and meet professionals in the field, which is the most important prerequisite for successful employment. I am confident that we will see many successful examples from this project, and we plan to continue our cooperation with Skillwill to increase the number of students we finance, helping them to master new professions or improve their knowledge,”- said Davit Kapanadze, Managing Director of Sakcable.
“It should be noted that such initiatives help activate young people in the labor market, providing opportunities to work in high-paying sectors for international or local companies from any location, including their own region. It is important to us that the private sector supports these initiatives and works with us to make education accessible to as many people as possible throughout Georgia,” – said a representative from Skillwill.
